Conference Agenda
The Africa Food Show Kenya conference programme, published live on the event platform
The conference
The Africa Food Show Kenya conference runs across the three days of the show, under the theme:
“Transforming Agrifood Systems for Healthy Diets: From Seed to Plate.”
The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development (MoALD), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), convenes a three-day knowledge conference. It provides a platform for policymakers, private-sector actors, development partners, researchers, innovators and the community to explore how agriculture, food processing, trade, investment, technology, food safety and nutrition can together contribute to agrifood systems that are more productive, resilient, competitive and nutrition-sensitive.
The programme is built on four pillars:
- Pillar 1 — Transformative governance: enabling policy and regulatory environments that align agriculture, trade, health, industry and investment objectives.
- Pillar 2 — Science, research, innovation and technology: bridging evidence and technology towards sustainable healthy diets.
- Pillar 3 — Sustainable financing and partnership: exploring financing mechanisms that support agrifood systems transformation for healthy diets.
- Pillar 4 — Community-led approaches: harnessing community-driven solutions to shape healthy diets.
The session agenda — days, times, tracks, halls and confirmed speakers — is maintained on the event platform and shown below. It is updated as the programme is confirmed, so this page is always the current version.
